Patanjali Activated Carbon Face wash | Product Review

Hello Everyone

Today I am reviewing the Patanjali activated carbon face wash.This face wash contains neem,lemon peel,turmeric and aloe vera and retails for 60Rs for 60 gm of product.All the ingredients used in the face wash cleanses and nourishes the skin and makes the skin smooth,acne and blemish free.

Directions:

Apply on wet face massage it gently and then wash it off with water.

Pros:

1)It's very affordable
2)You need very less quantity of product to wash your face.
3)Travel friendly with decent packaging.
4)Cleanses the face really well.
5)Good for people with dry skin also.

Cons:

1)Fragrance which is more like a soap :(


I would definetly recommend this face wash to everyone since its very affordabel,it contains less chemicals and contains more natural ingredients also the activated carbon works very well for acne prone skin.The only downside is the smell that can be ignored.

DIY face cream for glowing skin

This is a DIY face cream that can be applied at night to get that nice glowing skin when you wake up in the morning.

This mask requires 2 ingredients:

1)Aloe vera gel
2)Vitamin e capsules.

Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants that work great on the skin.
Vitamin e hydrate the skin making it smooth and blemish free.

Directions:

Take aloe vera gel and 1 vitamin e capsule.Mix it well and apply it on your face and neck.You may feel that the cream is a little sticky but do not worry you will be happy to see the results when you wake up in the morning.

People with oily skin can use this face cream once in a week,and people with normal to dry skin can use this face cream at least twice in a week.

DIY simple remedies to get rid of dark neck

We often take care of our face and follow a proper skin care routine but ignore cleaning or scrubbing the neck area that leads to dirt accumulation.Skin darkening can be caused due various reasons like ageing,hormonal imbalance,excess sun exposure,poor hygiene and sudden weight gain or loss.These are some natural remedies that are effective in reducing discoloration of the skin.

Oats and yoghurt mask:

Oats are good for health also it helps in exfoliation and removes dead skin.Yoghurt contains lactic acid and it is an excellent cleanser and has bleaching properties.

Directions:

Soak finely powdered oats in some milk.Add yoghurt to the soaked oats and make a paste.You can also add honey and lemon to this mix.Leave for 15-20 minutes.Wash off with lukewarm water.Apply this mask regularly at least 2-3 times in a week to get best results.

Potato juice :

Potato is a bleaching agent that helps to treat skin darkening.

Directions:

Grate the potato and apply the juice on the neck,you can also cut a potato in slices and rub it on the neck for 10 minutes.Repeat daily for at least a month for more effective and visible results.

Baking soda:

Baking soda is a natural cleanser also it is a natural antibiotic and cures fungal infection.

Directions:

Mix baking soda and water to make a paste,you can also add honey to this paste.Apply the paste on the neck and leave it for 15 minutes.
Wash off with lukewarm water.Repeat 2-3 times for at least a month for more effective and visible results.

Red lentil:

Red lentil is a natural exfoliant it improves skin texture and removes dead skin.

Directions:

Soak red lentil in milk for at least 4 hours and make a thick paste.Also, add turmeric to the paste.Apply the paste on the neck and leave it for 15 minutes.Wash off with lukewarm water.Repeat 3 times in a week for at least a month for effective results.


These natural remedies,when followed regularly can give effective and visible results.Besides using these remedies you should also use a sunscreen daily it will protect your skin from the harmful effects of sun exposure.

Get Straight hair with natural products

Straight hair is the latest trend these days.The chemicals used at salons can damage the hair making it look dry and dull after few months of hair straightening.The best way to straighten hair is to use non-chemical natural products available at home.Regular use of these products from your kitchen can make your hair soft,shiny and straight.These are some natural products that will help you in straightening your hair at home.

Aloe vera and olive oil:

Directions:

Apply Olive oil on all your hair.Leave it for 10 mins.Take fresh aloe vera plant extract and apply on the oiled hair.Tie your hair in a bun and leave it for 40 mins.Wash off your hair with mild shampoo.

Coconut milk:

Directions:

Grate a coconut to extract the milk or use readymade coconut milk available.Coconut milk has hair straightening properties.Apply the milk all over your hair and tie your hair in a tight bun.Leave it for 40 mins then wrap your hair with a hot water towel.Wash your hair with shampoo.

Milk and honey mask:

Directions:

Take some cold milk and add honey to make a thin paste.Apply it all over your hair.Leave it for 1 hour.Wash your hair with shampoo.

Apple cider vinegar and rose water:

Directions:

Mix apple cider vinegar and rose water in equal quantity and apply it all over your hair.Leave it on your hair for 30 mins and then rinse with water.Do not shampoo.

Hot oil treatment:

Directions:

Heat some olive oil and coconut oil in a bowl.Apply it all over your hair.Leave the oil for 30 mins and then wrap your hair with hot water towel.Wash off with a mild shampoo.


These natural products are not expensive and easily available.You need to use these straightening methods at home regularly at least twice a week to get the desired results.
